I am a painter originally from Dublin, but now based in Wexford, My work primarily explores the depiction of light- and in particular, the effects of high contrast and over saturation produced both by strong sunlight- and by artificial lighting at night.

By incorporating figurative elements into these investigations with light, I am continuing to develop work in an area that has been the main subject of my recent practice. A facination with bokeh photography is also an influence in recent paintings.

I  graduated from Wexford Campus School of Art & Design, Carlow IT, with a BA (Hons) in Art.  My work has been featured in Studentzine, an online publication for contemporary art- and my writing has been published in Paper Visual Art Journal.

My paintings are in the collections of Wexford VEC, IT Carlow, Kelly’s Resort Hotel, Rosslare along with many private collections.

I also work with The Wexford Arts Centre facilitating both adult and children’s workshops and I am on the current panel of artists with Wexford County Council’s Artist in the Community Scheme.
I have a solo show in The Presentation Centre in Enniscorthy during April 2013.
